Cynthia Hooper creates graceful short films that quietly observe sites such as waste disposal landscapes, effluent pipes, and salt mines. Her generous and impartial view reveals the mysterious clarity and poetic vitality of these places. Hooper was the subject of a CLUI Independent Interpreter exhibit in 2010.
